Allen W. Richter

Allen Wesley Richter, 73 of Grand Island, died Saturday – August 5, 2006 at Beverly Health Care – Park Place. 

Memorial Services will be 10:30 A.M. Friday at All Faiths Funeral Home. 

There will not be a visitation.  Mr. Richter was cremated.

Allen was born November 16, 1932 at Norfolk, NE the son of Herman and Mae (Colander) Richter.  Allen was raised in Norfolk, NE.  He also lived in Beatrice and St. Edwards.  He then moved to Grand Island and has worked at the Holiday Inn for over 10 years. 

Allen enjoyed riding the Handi-bus to the Grand Generation Center, where he would meet, enjoy dinner, and exercise with friends.  He also enjoyed kitties and puppies.  He liked to color and watch old western movies.  Allen was a man who never complained, and enjoyed each day as if it was his last.  He will be deeply missed by those who loved him. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his half-sister, Alma Kreps of Pawnee City, NE; brothers, Richard Richter of Norfolk, NE and Andy Richter of Norfolk, NE; and his AFH family, Brad, Marcia, Tricia, Linsey, Michael, Christina, and Arianna, all of Grand Island.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Gloria; half-brother, Paul; and half-sister, Ruth. 

Memorials are to be given in care of the family to be designated at a later date.
