Louise L. Barg

Louise L. Barg, 88, of Grand Island, died Tuesday March 20, 2007 at St. Francis Medical Center.

Mrs. Barg was cremated.  Services will be at a later date.  All Faiths Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

 She was born January 9, 1919 at Miller, Nebraska the daughter of Edmund and Julia (McCartney) Roehrich.

Louise was raised and received her education in Buffalo County.  On February 11, 1935 she was united in marriage to Arthur W. Barg at Lexington, NE.  They lived at Elm Creek, NE, Beloit, KS, Agra, KS, Wood River, NE and moved to Grand Island in 1988.

 While in Agra, KS she owned a restaurant and was a book keeper for Wood River Oil.  She was of the Methodist faith and a member of the Eagles Auxiliary 378.  Many of her interests included ceramics, fishing, painting, sewing and spending time with family.

 Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Arthur, sons a daughter-in-law, Loren and Vickie Barg of Lincoln and Gary Barg of Minden and a sister Adha Ginevra of Melbourne Beach, Florida and five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

 Her parents, sisters Peg Wade and Caryle Barnes, a son Charles and a daughter-in-law Katie preceded her in death
