"Bob" Robert A. Barrett

“Bob” Robert A. Barrett, 61, of Grand Island, died Monday July 9, 2007 at St. Francis Medical Center.

Memorial Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at All Faiths Funeral Home Chapel.  The Reverend Royce Rinehart will officiate.  Burial of ashes will be in the Grand Island Cemetery.

There will be no visitation.

Bob was born July 31, 1945 at Grand Island the son of Robert and Betty (Butcher) Barrett. He graduated from Grand Island Senior High in 1964.  He entered the United States Navy serving from 1964-1968.  He was united in marriage to Lois Blume on August 19, 1978.  He graduated from the Don Bair Flying Service as an Agricultural Pilot in 1974.  Bob was a crop dusting pilot in Texas and South Dakota and later drove truck for various companies. 

He is survived by his wife Lois and nieces DeLee, Beth and Cindy, nephews Lee and Jason and brother-in-law and his wife Randy and Sherri Hiatt.  His parents and a sister Susan preceded him in death.

He is a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
