George Fass

Prayer service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday at All Faiths Funeral Home.  The Reverend Onamae Waddel will officiate.  Burial of ashes will be in the Wiegert Cemetery.

There will be a time of gathering of family and friends Saturday one hour before service time. 

George was born June 12, 1936 at Grand Island the son of George and Elizabeth (Waeglie) Fass. He was raised near St. Libory attending country school.  He was united in marriage to Marie Heglmeier on June 6, 1970.  They made their home in Grand Island where he was employed by MFS York for 24 years.

George went to be with his Lord on Friday, June 22, 2007 at Golden Living Park Place.

Those left to cherish his are his wife Marie, daughters and sons-in-law Melissa and David Brandt of Grand Island, Christine and Kurt Stephens of Ravenna, step daughter and son-in-law Judy and Daniel Sather of Norstrand, MN and Nancy Bucher of Ravenna and 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

His parents and step son Gregg Bucher preceded him in death.
