Ronald L. Gannon, 69, of Kingman, Arizona, formerly of Grand Island, died Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at his
home with his wife and family at his side.
Memorial services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 19,
2007 at All Faiths Funeral Home in Grand Island.
Ronald was born October 21, 1937 in Grand Island the son of
Earl and Ruth (VanWey) Gannon. Ronald attended Giltner and Grand Island Schools. He served in the 82nd Airborne
Division as a paratrooper from 1957-60.
He worked as project manager at Kershaw Construction,
P.J. Carroll Construction for 35 years, Lacy Construction and Galvan
Construction.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Charlene
Morse Gannon, sons Tim and Tom Gannon, step- daughters and their
spouses, Arlee and Jake Campbell and Emily and Mike Mitchell, sisters
and brothers-in-law, Joan and Jim Roberts of Fremont, NE, Marilyn
and Mike Galvan of Grand Island, Sharon and Larry Martens of Fremont,
NE, brother and sister-in-law Gary and Connie Gannon of Grand Island
and step-grandchildren Madison Mitchell and Cobe Sjogren, numerous
nieces, nephews and family and friends who will remember him for
his great sense of humor and caring attitude. He made many
trips to Nebraska to spend time
with family and friends who were very dear to him.
His parents and a brother Robert L. Gannon preceded him
in death.
