Phyllis Hall
Phyllis M. Hall, 60 of Grand Island,
died Tuesday at Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital
in Lincoln.
Memorial Services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 29th
at All Faiths Funeral Home. The Elder
Richard Fritz will officiate.
Phyllis was born September 15, 1946 at Salina, Kansas
the daughter of William and Alvena (Berger) Whitman. She was raised in Salina where she
graduated from High School. She was
united in marriage to Jerry Utley. Later
she married Kenneth Hall, Jr. She moved
to Grand Island in 1977 and attended Central Community College.
Those left to cherish her memory are a son Troy Utley,
daughters Shira Utley, Lanita Svitak and Brandy Guerrero all of Grand Island,
her mother Alvena Strain of Wichita Falls, TX, foster mother Vera Lavonne Smith
of Fletcher, OK, brothers Clark and Gary Strain both of Wichita Falls, TX,
foster brothers Scott Smith and Bob Hester, foster sister Roxanna Keehn and 13
grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Phyllis was a member of the Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall.
Her father and brother Mark Strain preceded her in death.
