Larry
E. Hoes
Larry E. Hoes, 62, of Grand Island, died Sunday August 5, 2007.
According
to Larry’s wishes there will not be a service. His
ashes will be buried at a later date in the Grand Island Cemetery.
Friends were invited to greet the family and share stories.
Larry was born May 29, 1945 at Grand Island the son of Willis and Betty (Smith) Hoes.
He was raised and received his education in Grand Island. He served in the United States Army during Vietnam from 1966-1968. He was united in marriage to “Jinx” Rojeanne Mudloff in 1967. Following the military he returned to Grand Island where he owned and operated Hoes Plumbing.
He is a member of the VFW and was baptized in the Methodist faith.
His parents and brother Jerry Hoes preceded him in death.
Memorials are suggested to Central Nebraska Humane Society.
Survivors include the love of his life, Jinx Hoes of Grand Island, daughters
Sabra Uttecht of Omaha and “Chel” Rachelle VanDerWyst of
Phoenix, Arizona, a sister Carolyn Lutrell of Henderson, Nevada and a
nephew and his wife, Jeff and Grace Hoes and their daughter Jackie and
his dachshunds Sophie and Smidgen.
