Stanley D. Jurgensen, 51, of Grand Island, died Tuesday February 6, 2007 at St. Francis Medical Center.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at All Faiths Funeral Home Chapel.
The Reverend Terry Brown will officiate.
Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. Thursday at All Faiths Funeral Home.
Stan was born August 21, 1955 to Dan and Catherine Shirley (Harsch) Jurgensen in McCook, NE. He attended schools in McCook and Grand Island, graduating form Northwest High School in 1973. He married Miriam Crawford on May 23, 1981.
Stan was employed at Case New Holland. He was a member of Assembly of God churches in McCook and Grand Island, and later New Life Community Church where he played the drums and sang in the choir. During his life, he played drums in several Christian bands.
Stan enjoyed football, playing basketball, golf and ping pong. Most of all he enjoyed his time with his children.
Survivors are daughters and son-in-law Alycia and Matt Purdie, Chelsy Jurgensen and son Luke Jurgensen, a sister and brother-in-law Heidi and Jon Watson and a nephew Damon Watson.
His parents preceded him in death.
