Clark E. Keffer

Clark E. Keffer, 65, of Grand Island, died Tuesday August 14, 2007 at St. Francis Medical Center.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church in Grand Island.  Reverend Hart Edmonds and Reverend Cheryl Lamb will officiate.  Burial will be in the Grand Island Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. Friday at All Faiths Funeral Home in Grand Island. 

Clark was born October 7, 1941 at Homestead, Pennsylvania the son of James and Beryl (Jacob) Keffer.  Clark and raised in Kansas and South Dakota moving to Lexington, NE in 1974 working for New Holland.  He moved to Grand Island in 1980 where he was the welding instructor at Central Community College, later serving as the Media Services Coordinator.  He retired in October 2006. 

He was united in marriage to Kathleen (McCune) Saddler on November 18, 1978 at Lexington.  He is a member of First Presbyterian Church in Grand Island.  He loved being a grandpa.  His enjoyments included camping, boating, and sport shooting and living life to its fullest. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife “Kathy” Kathleen, children and their spouses Denise and Chris Callahan, Mike and Sonia Saddler, and Bryan and Brooke Saddler all of Grand Island, brother and sister-in-law; John and Rebecca Keffer of Graham, TX., grandchildren; Chad and Alex VanHoosen, Cody and Brady Callahan, Jessica, Erika and Rebekah Saddler, Austin, Blake, Brynn and Brielle Saddler, mother-in-law; Virgie McCune of Clay Center, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Don and Marty McCune of Hastings, Linda and David Walker of Clay Center, and Nadine and Alan Plambeck of Omaha and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial fund will be established in his name.
