Terry
L. Larson, 71, of Grand Island,
died Thursday, September 20, 2007 at St. Francis Medical Center.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday at All Faiths Funeral
Home in Grand Island. Burial
will be in the Grand Island Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour before service time.
Terry was born November 23, 1935 at Grand Island the daughter
of Irvin and Ruby (Terry) Meves. She was raised and received
her education in Grand Island graduating
from Grand Island Senior High. She attended Colorado Women’s
College and Cottey College receiving
her teaching certificate in 1955. On April 14, 1955 she was
united in marriage to David Larson in Grand
Island. While David served in the U.S.
Army they lived in Olympia, WA and
returned back to Grand Island where
they made their home.
Terry was co-owner of Regal Beauty Salon. She and
her husband owned and operated National Auto Parts. She was
a member of Friendly Neighbors extension club. She enjoyed
sewing, flowers, gardening, traveling and loved her dogs Ginger and
Muffin.
Terry was beautiful, elegant and loving. She loved her
sisters deeply and made special gifts for them for their birthdays
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband David,
daughter Debra Starkey, sisters and brothers-in-law, Peggy and Larry
Fletcher of Lincoln, Judy and Bill Bremer of Colorado Springs, CO,
and Mary and Ken Marrs of The Village, Florida, brother-in-law Dick
Roenfeldt of Treasure Island, Florida, a beloved grandson Sean Starkey,
nieces and nephews and many friends.
Her parents and a sister Nancy Roenfeldt preceded her
in death.
Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association,
Saint Francis Hospice or donor’s choice.
