Norma
Shada
Norma M. Shada, 95, of Grand Island, Norma went to be with her Lord
on Thursday, February 1, 2007 at Beverly Healthcare~ Parkplace in Grand
Island.
Norma was born February 1, 1912 at Omaha the daughter of John and Helen
(Karem) Shada. Norma was raised and received her education in the Anselmo
and Kearney area. She moved to Grand Island in 1934 working at Twin Rivers
Egg Plant for 28 years, Delicious Foods, The Grand Generation Center
and the Salvation Army.
She volunteered at the Salvation Army. Norma enjoyed gardening.
Those left to cherish her memory are daughters Helen Ramirez of Lincoln
and Ramona Austin of California, brothers Anthony and Leo Shada of Kearney,
and sisters Victoria Applegarth of Kearney, Maxine Greever of Ft. Worth,
TX ,grandchildren Tracy, James and John Munoz, and great grandchildren
Ashley Leitner, Cooper Munoz, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Her parents, brothers Nicholas, George, John, Jr., and Victor Shada
and sisters Mabel McCauley and Josephine Wetzig, son-in-law, Jesse “Jim” Munoz
and nephews Johnny and Jerry Shada preceded her in death.
