Wenz
Jordan Wenz, 41, of Grand Island, died Sunday, August 5th at
St. Francis Skilled Care.
Memorial
Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at St. Pauls Lutheran Church. The Reverend Randy Fett will officiate. Burial
of her ashes will be at a later date in the Grand Island Cemetery.
There will be a gathering of family and friends from
5-7 p.m. Thursday at All Faiths Funeral Home.
Jordan was
born August 9, 1965 at Huntsville, Alabama the daughter of E. Glenn and Sharon
(Reimers) Johnson. She was raised in Grand Island graduating
from Northwest High School in
1983. She graduated from Hastings College in 1987.
She was united in marriage to Randall L. Wenz on July
21, 1990 at Grand Island. They
lived in California until moving back to Grand Island in 1993. Jordan was a pre school teacher at
St. Pauls Lutheran Church. She also was a Jazzercise instructor.
Jordan will
be remembered as a great mom and friend to many.
Survivors are her husband Randall, their two sons Nicholas
and Griffin and her mother Sherry
Johnson of Grand Island.
Her father Glenn preceded her in death on October 14,
2005.
