Lloyd
C. Zigler, 65, of Grand Island died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2007, at St. Francis
Medical Center.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Trinity United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Jay Vetter will officiate. Burial will be in the Grand Island
Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at the church. All Faiths Funeral
Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Zigler was born Feb. 3, 1942, at Kearney to Donald and Evelyn (Day) Zigler.
Survivors of the immediate family include his wife, Karen Zigler; two sons and
daughters-in-law, Tim and Donna Zigler and Mike and Tammy Zigler, all of Grand
Island; his mother of Grand Island; and a brother and sister-in-law, Dale and
Donna Zigler of St. Paul.
Those also left to cherish his memory are his grandchildren, Steven, Zachary,
Austin and Masy.
His father and grandsons, Matthew and Hayden, preceded him in death.
Lloyd grew up in Gibbon, where he graduated from high school in 1961. He was
united in marriage to Karen Aldrich on June 8, 1963, at Gibbon. They made their
home in Grand Island, where he worked as a diesel mechanic for BosselmanÕs.
He then went to work for Chief Automotive in 1972, retiring in 2006.
He is a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, was an avid care race fan,
NASCAR fan, charter member of Central NE Circle Track Association and enjoyed
traveling. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to either the church or donors choice.
