Services
will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at All Faiths Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev.
Rodney Armon will officiate. Burial will be in Grand Island Cemetery.Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Clausen was born Dec. 20, 1924, at Grand Island to Henry and Hulda (Detlefsen) Clausen.
Survivors of the immediate family include a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Erma Clausen of Grand Island.
Other survivors are his niece, Coleen Fagan of Grand Island; nephews, Kenneth Clausen of Grand Island and Curtis Clausen of Des Moines, Iowa and great nephews and nieces.
His parents preceded him in death.
George was raised on the family farm south of Grand Island. He attended rural School District 4 and Grand Island Senior High. He continued to farm with his family, then he went to work for New Holland, where he retired.
He was an accomplished taxidermist, enjoyed fishing and hunting and was a collector.
He is a member of the Platt-Duetsch.
