Margaret
Dillon, 70, of Grand Island died Sunday May 11, 2008. Services will be
at 10 a.m. Thursday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. The Rev. Francis
Curran will officiate. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at All Faiths Funeral
Home, with a Christian wake service at 7:30. Mrs. Dillon was born Dec.
19, 1937, at Chester, S.D., to Clifford and Marie (Oltmanns) Moeller. Survivors
of the immediate family include her husband, Larry; two daughters and sons-in-law,
Kelly and Ken Lesiak of Fullerton and Karey and Keith Killion of Grand
Island; three sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel and Carol Dillon of Billerica,
Mass., Wayne and Dorothy Dillon of Altamonte Springs, Fla., and Jeff and
Laurie Dillon of Olathe, Kan.; and a brother and sister-in-law, Curt and
Julia Moeller of Hastings. Those also left to cherish her memory are grandchildren,
Maggie, Makenzie, Kyle, Danielle, Cole, Casey, Kirby, Amanda, Kylie, Jacob,
Matthew and Falyn. Her parents and brothers, Ron and Len Moeller preceded
her in death. Margaret was raised in South Dakota until the 6th grade,
moving to Kenesaw where she graduated from Kenesaw High School in 1956.
She was united in marriage to Larry Dillon on June 23, 1958, at Kenesaw.
They lived in Salem and Boelus, before moving to Grand Island in 1962.
She worked as a loan officer for First National Bank that later became
Wells Fargo. She then worked and retired from Grand Island Abstract and
Title Company. She is a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Alpha
Alpha Sorority, and a sewing group and volunteered at church and St. Francis
Medical Center. She loved to read, enjoyed gardening, cooking, traveling
and most of all spending time with family. A memorial fund will be established
in Margaret's name.
