Kevin Gammon

Kevin Gammon, 38, of Grand Island died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008.

Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the All Faiths Funeral Home Chapel.  The Reverend Rob Inge will officiate.  Military honors will be provided by the United States Navy.

Kevin was born October 28, 1969 at Gallatin, Tennessee the son of James and Claudine (Flippen) Gammon. He grew up and graduated from Gallatin High School.  He entered the U.S. Navy on June 15, 1988 serving in Dessert Storm and honorably discharged on June 14, 1992.  Kevin moved to Grand Island in 1994 and was employed by MFS/York/Stormor for 15 years. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother and stepfather, Claudine and Billy Wair of Lebanon, TN, son Alec Gammon of Grand Island, daughter and son-in-law Jarilyn, Joshua Hawthorne and grandson Joseph Hawthorne of Grand Island, brother Christopher Gammon of LaVergne, TN, step mother Linda Gammon of Castilian Springs, TN, step sister Misty Brigham of Castilian Springs, TN and Step brother Chuck Lembach of Kentucky.

His father preceded him in death.

Kevin was a member of the Harvest Time Baptist Church.  He was a talented painter, played the guitar and was great with computers.
