Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at All Faiths Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time on Tuesday.
Cremation will take place following the service, with burial of ashes in the Richland Cemetery at Mar-quette.
Mrs. Hayes was born Aug. 31, 1922, at Tekamah to James and Eliza (Salisbury) Bar-ger.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Duane; a daughter, Joyce Werner; and an infant son.
Survivors of the immediate family include a daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Dwayne Sargent of Buckeye, Ariz.
Other survivors are grandchildren, Pamela Wodrich, Shelly Thomas, Daniel Werner and Tonya Dean; nine great-grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces.
Louise was raised in Tekamah, where she graduated from high school. She was united in marriage to Duane Hayes in 1943. They lived in Marquette and later moved to Grand Island. She worked as a bookkeeper for a trucking company.
