Memorial
services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at All Faiths Funeral Home Chapel.
Dan Naranjo will officiate.
There will be no visitation.
Ms. Horky was born Oct. 14, 1962, at Grand Island to Harlan and Mariette
Horky.
Survivors of the immediate family include a daughter, Mandy Pitchall
of Lincoln; a son, Elijio Horky of Amarillo; her parents of Grand
Island; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Christy Horky of
Grand Island; and two sisters and a brother-in-law, Deb and Dale
Dubas of Fullerton and Denise Deleon of Grand Island.
Other survivors are several nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and a very special
aunt, Sherri of Grand Island; and a friend for many years, Buck of Amarillo.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents and an aunt.
Diane attended the old Westlawn School, Walnut Junior High and graduated from
Grand Island Senior High, class of 1982. She was employed at Kentucky Fried Chicken
and Day Light Donuts before moving to Amarillo in 1984.
She was an avid reader, enjoyed cooking, fishing and being with her friends and
family.
Memorials are suggested to go to her children.
