Donald E. Kaelin II, 55, of McCool Junction, formerly of Grand Island, died Wednesday July 16, 2008 at York General Hospital.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at All Faiths Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday at All Faiths Funeral Home.
Don was born April 22, 1953 at Broken Bow, NE the son of Donald and Dolores (Ely) Kaelin. He graduated from Grand Island Northwest High School, class of 1971, then attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Don was a realtor, owning Kaelin Reality in Grand Island. He moved to McCool Junction six years ago. He was working at Sapp Brothers in York. Donald was an avid sports fan.
Those left to cherish his memory are his parents Donald and Dolores Kaelin of Grand Island, sisters and brothers-in-law, Debra and Larry Fleharty of Fairmont, NE, Dixie and Jim Sidel of St. Paul, NE, Diana and Gary Johnson of Rogers, Arkansas, and Denise and Myron Powell of Greeley, CO and a brother Doug Kaelin of Grand Island.
Other survivors are nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandparents and a niece and a nephew.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
