Roger
A. Livingston, 53, of Grand Island died Sunday, Nov. 2, 2008, following
a courageous battle with cancer.
Memorial
services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at All Faiths Funeral Home.
Chaplain Colleen O'Neill will officiate.
There will be no visitation. As per Mr. Livingston's request, cremation
has taken place.
Mr. Livingston was born Sept. 3, 1955, at Grand Island to Sherley
Jr. and Maxine (Cornelius) Livingston.
Survivors of the immediate family include five daughters, Misty Hug
and Angela Skalka, both of Grand Island, Sarah Schwaderer of Anselmo
and Connie and Lindsay Livingston of Rushville; three sons, Shane
Kneifel of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Benjamin Kneifel of San Diego and
Christopher Schwaderer of Kearney; his mother of Grand Island; a
brother, Robert Livingston of Grand Island; and two sisters, Kathleen
Powell and Pamela Lindell, both of Grand Island.
Other survivors include 15 grandchildren.
His father, Sherley Livingston Jr., and a brother, Ronald Livingston, preceded
him in death.
Roger grew up in Central City and Grand Island, graduating from Grand Island
Senior High, class of 1973. He was employed by White Farms Trucking of Doniphan
for many years and was recently employed by Double S Trucking of Avoca, Iowa.
