Graveside
services will be a 2 p.m. Friday in the Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
There will be no visitation. All Faiths Funeral Home is in charge
of arrangements.
Mrs. Moye was born Oct. 6, 1922, at Atlanta to Forrest and Anna (Simpson)
Johnston.
Her husband, Milo ÒHowardÓ Moye, preceded her in death
in 1991.
Survivors of the immediate family include a son, Rodney Sutton of
Grand Island; and a sister, Norma Johnston of Grand Island.
She is also survived by grandsons, Steven and Darren Sutton, both
of Grand Island, and great-grandchildren, Alex, Nicole and Haleigh.
In addition to her husband, daughter-in-law, Joyce, sisters, Lucille Johnston
and Virginia Bartling and an infant brother, Edward, preceded her in death.
Mrs. Moye was raised in Holdrege graduating from Holdrege High School in 1941.
She was united in marriage to Milo Moye on Oct. 31, 1952. They lived in Holdrege
for many years, moving to California in 1963 and then to Grand Island in 1985.
She enjoyed cleaning and her dog, Pookie.
