Clark W. Reese
Clark W. Reese, 57, of Grand Island died Sunday, June 22, 2008, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Trinity United Methodist Church. The Rev. Jay Vetter will officiate. Inurnment will be in the church's columbarium.
There will be no visitation. All Faiths Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Reese was born Nov. 14, 1950, at Omaha to Walter and Irma (Jahrmarkt) Reese.
Survivors of the immediate family include his wife, Karen, and a son, Ryan Reese
of Washington, D.C..
Additional survivors include his father-in-law and his wife, Harold and Donna
Ward of Grand Island; a brother-in-law and his wife, Doug and Cheryl Ward of
Grand Island; two nephews, Conor and Derek Ward; and Clark's Godchildren,
Jonathan and Abbie Reece.
Clark was preceded in death by his parents and his mother-in-law, Esther Ward.
A special thank you extended to our dear friends, Bill and Diane Reece of Wahoo,
who opened their hearts and home during Clark's illness. Thank you also
to all of our neighbors and friends for their prayers, love and support.
Clark grew up and received his education in Omaha, moving to Grand Island for
his junior year and graduating from GISH in 1969. He attended the University
of Nebraska-Lincoln, majoring in marketing and economics, receiving his Bachelor
of Science in Business Administration. Clark completed his Master's in
Business Administration at the University of Kearney.
He was united in marriage to Karen Ward on Aug. 25, 1973, at Grand Island. Following
their marriage, the couple made their home in Grand Island. Clark spent the majority
of his professional career working as a sales representative and manager in the
field of Telecommunications. Later in his career, he served as an individual
investment adviser.
Clark served on the Grand Island Education Foundation Board, Hall County Leadership
Unlimited Board and CRISIS Center Inc. Board. He was a member of the Leadership
Tomorrow Youth Program Committee, Leadership Tomorrow Alumni Committee and Grand
Island Information Technology Committee. In the past, Clark was a board member
of the Moonshell Arts and Humanities Council, the Grand Island Senior High Drama/Chorale
Boosters and the Grand Island Senior High Band Boosters; a member of the Grand
Island Public Schools/Infrastructure Committee; Division co-chair of Heartland
United Way; he served in many capacities at Trinity United Methodist including
sponsoring Junior/Senior High Youth Group and Sunday School Teacher; he chaired
the Renovation Campaign and was chairman of the American Cancer Society/Hall
County Unit/Special Events where he initiated the first Relay For Life in Grand
Island.

Foundation or the CRISIS Center.
