Arthur Carl Thomsen, Jr.

Arthur Carl Thomsen, Jr., of Grand Island, died suddenly Sunday September 14, 2008 at the Golden Living Center Park Place.

Graveside Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Grand Island City Cemetery.  Mr. Thomsen was cremated, there will be no visitation.

All Faiths Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Thomsen was born on May 3, 1953 at Grand Island the son of Arthur Carl Thomsen, Sr., and Geraldine Seier Thomsen.

Survivors are a brother, Don Patton.

Art graduated from Grand Island Senior High and Grand Island School of Business.  He also attended Hastings College.  In the early 70’s he was employed at the Grand Island YMCA.  He was affiliated with the Catholic Church.

Mr. Thomsen was never married.  Art was very intelligent and enjoyed reading, spirituality and sports.

His parents preceded him in death.
