Velma Charlotte Larson, 93, of Hays
Springs, died March 9, 2009 at Good Samaritan Home in

born, Marilynn Jean, Stephen Dale and Bruce Arthur.
She was a member of the United Methodist
Church of Hays Springs, Ruth’s Circle Women’s Club, Order
of the Eastern Star where she was Past Worthy Matron, Mariners Dinner
Club and PEO. She sang in the church choir and played in the
Joy Belles for many years. In 2002 she became a 50 year member
of PEO.
Those left to cherish her memory are
daughter and son-in-law; Marilynn and Dick Miller of Grand Island,
NE, Son and daughter-in-law; Stephen and Lorna Larson of Topeka,
Kansas; grandchildren and their spouses, Marsha Miller of Denver,
CO and Karin and Adam George of Centennial, Kansas; great grandson,
Cody Stone-Miller and great granddaughter McKenna George.
She was preceded in death by her parents,
brother, Willard Hetzel, husband Dale “Bud” Larson and
son Bruce Arthur Larson.
