Marie Lutt
Julie Marie Lutt, 44, of Grand Island died Tuesday, January 13, 2009,
at Good Samaritan Hospital, Kearney, NE.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, at All Faiths
Funeral Home Chapel. Father Mark Maresh will officiate. Burial of ashes
will be in Grand Island City Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
Julie was born September 8, 1964, in Grand Island, the daughter of Raymond
and Caroline (Adam) Badsteen.
Survivors of her immediate family include her husband, Joel D. Lutt;
her sons, James Williams and fiancée Sarah Hongsermeier, Benjamin
Lutt and fiancée Crystal Beck and Samuel Lutt; her daughter, Jessica
Lutt and two sisters, Angela Badsteen and Michelle Hellbusch all of Grand
Island.
Additional survivors include four grandchildren, Kaiden Williams, Maxwell
Lutt, Tiah Lutt and Jadyn Lutt; a niece, Mallory Hellbusch and Julie’s
special friends and co-workers at I-80 Sinclair Station.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Lisa Badsteen,
November 2008.
Julie grew up in Grand Island, graduating from Grand Island Senior High,
Class of 1982. She received an Associate Degree in Data Processing from
Central Community College. Julie was married to Joel Lutt on August 26,
1996 in Grand Island. She was employed by Cabela’s for 10 years
and was currently employed by I-80 Sinclair Station.
It was important to Julie that she was good mother, wife and employee.
A loyal friend, she was loving and giving. Julie was a homebody, loved
to read, go camping, and adored her grandchildren.
