Kathy M. Stoltenberg

Kathy M. Stoltenberg, 46, of Grand Island, died Saturday, December 26, 2009 at the Nebraska Heart Hospital in Lincoln.

Service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 6, 2009 at All Faiths Funeral Home Chapel.  The Reverend Jack Gillam will officiate.  Burial will be in the Grand Island Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Stoltenberg was born December 30, 1962 at Grand Island the daughter of Orval and Florence (Stuart) Roush.

Survivors are her husband, Roger and daughters and sons-in-law, Mandy and Dave Lind of Alda and Laci and Mike Endorf of Worms.

Those also left to cherish her memory are her grandchildren, David, Joseph, Alexis and Constance Lind and Carreagan Endorf.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Joanne Roush. 

Kathy was raised in Grand Island attending Grand Island Northwest High School.  She worked at Speltz-Schultz as an office manager in the mill work department and at that time she was known as Kathy Shelton. She was united in marriage to Roger Stoltenberg on July 11, 2000.  Kathy worked at JC Penney’s and then Dillard’s in the children department.  She also was the office manager and co-owner of Country’s Canvas.

She enjoyed baking, sewing, crocheting and gardening.  Kathy loved her animals that were her adopted children. 

Memorials are suggested to the family, “GRACE” Grand Island Area Cancer Endowment or the Central Nebraska Humane Society.
