"Connie" Constance C. Titman

“Connie” Constance C. Titman, 87, of Grand Island, died July 10, 2009 at St. Francis Medical Center.

Mrs. Titman’s body has been donated to the Anatomical Board of the State of Nebraska.  To honor Connie’s wishes here will be no visitation or service.  Her ashes will be buried at a later date in the Stella, Nebraska Cemetery.  Memorials are suggested to the First Presbyterian Church.

All Faiths Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Titman was born on August 6, 1921, at Richardson County, Nebraska, the daughter of Joseph S. and Mabel (Chism) Robinson. 

Survivors include one son, Charles Bryan Titman of Aranas Pass, Texas and daughter, Darlene Faye Honeycutt of Grand Island and brother, Lawrence Robinson of Las Vegas, Nevada.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Gaylene Puckett and step mother Elsie Robinson.

She was raised and received her education in the Stella, Nebraska area.  Connie was employed at Driesbach’s for 48 years, retiring in 1995.  She was also a homemaker and mother. 

Connie was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, prayer shawl ministry at the church, Grand Island China Painters, Eastern Star, and Daughter of the Nile, Daughters of the American Revolution, Chartered 3rd Chapter of the Nebraska Ostomy Association of Grand Island in 1970 and a member of the Central Nebraska Ostomy Association.
