Wendell W. Zwink

Wendell W. Zwink, 74, of Grand Island, died Sunday, May 17, 2009 at Golden Living Center Lakeview.

Burial of ashes will be in Fort McPherson National Cemetery.  There will be no service. All Faiths Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Wendell was born March 1, 1935, in Giltner, NE, the son of William and Viola (McNeff) Zwink.

Survivors include two sisters, Charlene Zwink and Cleetis Meyer, both of Grand Island, NE.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Wendell grew up around Hastings, graduating from Hastings High School.  He was a member of the NE Army National Guard in Hastings.  He entered the United States Air in 1958, serving in Korea and was honorably discharged in 1962.  Over the years Wendell was real estate agent for various firms.
