Sheryl J. Becker, 48, of Phillips, died Friday, April 23, 2010, at Golden Living Center at Lakeview following a courageous battle with Leukemia.
Service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pleasant View Bible Church
in Aurora. The Reverend Mark Hartley will officiate. Burial will be in
the Aurora Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at All Faiths Funeral Home in Grand Island.
Mrs. Becker was born on November 2, 1961 at Central City, the daughter of Marvin and Clarice (Eckstrom) Addison.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Randy; sons, Jason and Troy Becker of Phillips; father and step mother, Marvin and Karen Addison of Hampton, NE; brothers and sister-in-law, Larry and Cindy Addison of Grand Island, Terry Addison of Denver, CO, and Gary Addison of Hastings; sisters and brothers-in-law, Carol and Darin Danielson of Doniphan, and Sue and Brian Milan of Minnesota.
Other survivors are numerous nieces and nephews.
She was welcomed into heaven by her mother, grandparents, aunt and uncle.
Sheryl grew up and received her education at the Palmer and Central City areas. She was united in marriage to Randall Scott Becker on October 19, 1979; from there the couple made Phillips their home.
She enjoyed crafts, flowers, and woodworking. Her pets: Snickers, Buddy, Rex, and Shrek were among her favorites. Sheryl especially loved spending time with family and friends.
A memorial fund will be established in Sheryl’s name.
