Wade E. Holmes, 39, of Omaha, formerly of Grand Island, died Tuesday January 26, 2010, at Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday February 1, 2010 at All Faiths Funeral
Home Chapel. Dan Naranjo will officiate. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial
Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Sunday at All Faiths Funeral Home.
Mr. Holmes was born September 10, 1970 at Grand Island, the son of Larry Holmes and Cheryl Glinsmann.
Survivors are his parents, Larry and Sandra Holmes of Grand Island and Cheryl and Cal Glinsmann of Cairo, NE; brother and friend, Larry Holmes, Jr. and Tonya Watkins of Cairo, NE; sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Ryan Spotanski of Cairo, NE; Nieces, Jordyn and Maulee; Nephews, Jake and Jayden.
He was welcomed into heaven by his grandparents, uncles, Dave and Greg Miller.
Wade was raised in Grand Island. He was an avid Husker fan, enjoyed NASCAR, and loved music. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
