Sandra Wiese, 62, of Grand Island, died Sunday, January 30, 2011 at St. Francis Medical Center.
Service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at All Faiths Funeral Home in Grand
Island. The Reverend Donna Carpenter will officiate. Burial
will be in the Chapman Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at All Faiths Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wiese was born October 31, 1948 at Plainview, NE the daughter of Lawrence “Jack” and Gloria (Hult) Sager.
Survivors include her husband Dennis; daughters, Jamie Hansen, Jessica Wiese, Amanda Wiese and Megan Wiese, all of Grand Island; step children, Jeffrey Wiese of Lincoln and Kimberly Theobald of Wilbur and sisters and brothers-in-law, Gloria Jean and Ronald Kortum of Chapman, Jacquies Sager of Marquette and Sue and Abraham Soto of Omaha.
She is also survived by eight grandchildren. Sandra’s parents and two brothers, Jackie and Billy welcomed her into heaven.
Sandra attended Central City and Grand Island Northwest High Schools. She was united in marriage to Dennis Wiese on August 20, 1981. They continued to live in Chapman and Grand Island. Sandra worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant and Care Staff Member for area nursing homes.
She was a member of the Chapman United Methodist Church.
