Susan R. Aguilar, 62 of Grand Island, died Thursday, January 5, 2012 at her home.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at All Faiths Funeral Home. Dan
Naranjo will officiate. Burial will be in the Grand Island Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon till service time on Tuesday.
Ms. Aguilar was born October 1, 1949 at Grand Island to Errol and Loretta (Michalski) Finley.
Survivors are her children, Ronald Aguilar of Grand Island, Ramona Aguilar of Grand Island, Kathy Sanchez and Renee Aguilar of Norfolk, VA; her mother, Loretta Finley of Beatrice; s isters and brothers-in-law, Linda & Ray McCall of Beatrice, Pat and Doyle Spitzer of Burton, TX, Kathy and Mike Stout of Oklahoma City, OK, Pam and Bruce Potts of Mesa, AZ.; brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Marlene Findley of Salt Lake City, UT; grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins. She was preceded in death by her father.
Susan was raised and received her education at Grand Island. She
was united in marriage to Richard Aguilar. She worked at Sutter
Deli until she retired due to ill health. Susan loved spending
time with family. She liked playing card games, playing bingo,
watching TV and visiting friends and relatives. Before she retired,
she worked for several cleaning companies both in Davenport, Iowa and
Norfolk, Virginia areas.
