Pamela ‘Pam’ S. Boersen, 58, of Grand Island, died Tuesday,
February 28, 2012, at Lakeview Golden Living Center.
Service
will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 3 at All Faiths Funeral Home. The Reverend
Jay Vetter will officiate. Burial will be in Grand
Island City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday at All Faiths Funeral Home.
Pam was born December 9, 1953, at Grand Island, NE, the daughter of Norman and Barbara (Shottenkirk) Behring. She grew up in Grand Island, graduating from Grand Island Senior High School in 1971. Pam worked for Triad Fasteners for many years in Alda. She retired due to her health.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and she loved gardening, sewing, and her cats.
Those left to cherish her memory include brothers and sisters-in-law, Norman and Betty Behring of Colby, KS and Matt and Paula Behring of Chapman; and a sister and brother-in-law, Laura and Tom Singkofer of Hastings.
She is also survived by her special caretakers, John and Lynette Boersen and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Gary; and a sister, Lenora.
Memorials are suggested to the Humane Society of the United States.
