'Susan' Cassidy
Linda ‘Susan’ Cassidy, 67, of Grand Island died unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, with her family at her side.
Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 29 th
at Piccadilly Square Apartments Clubhouse. A living memorial will
be planted on the grounds in honor of Susan’s memory after which
her friends and family invite you to attend a gathering to celebrate
Susan’s life.
All Faiths Funeral Home is serving the family.
Susan was born January 6, 1945 in El Paso, Texas, the daughter of Neal and Linda (Lackey) Ford.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Thomas Cassidy; daughter, Melissa Gourley of Joliet, Illinois and son, Andrew Cassidy of Niceville, Florida.
She is also survived by three grandchildren, Sarah Nina, Kathryn Renae and Taylor Barbara Virginia and two great grandchildren, Lilyana and Lucille.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her Granny Nina Alters.
Susan was united in marriage to Tom Cassidy on May 31, 1971.
She was currently employed as manager at Piccadilly Square Apartments and previously was floral manager for USave Grocery Store. Susan’s green thumb and kind heart have touched so many lives. She will be missed immensely.
