Mark A. Hjorth, 53, of Lincoln, formerly of Doniphan died unexpectedly
Saturday, June 16, 2012 in Lincoln.
Service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 23 at St. Paul’s Lutheran
Church in Doniphan. Reverend Rod Armon will officiate. Burial
will be in Cedarview Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-7:30 p.m. Friday at the church. All
Faiths Funeral Home of Grand Island is serving the family.
Mark was born January 26, 1959 at Norfolk, the son of Orval and
Mavis (Nebola) Hjorth.
Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Amber Smalley
of Lincoln and her friend, Marcus Ramer; his mother, Mavis and sister
and brother-in-law, Hope (Terry) Lienemann of Doniphan.
He is also survived by his aunt, Delores Nebola of Albuquerque, New
Mexico and nephews, Travis Lienemann of Doniphan, Shawn Lienemann of
Kearney and Jared Lienemann of Doniphan.
He was preceded in death by his father, Orval on May 17, 2011 and
a brother, Brent.
Mark was raised in Stanton and Doniphan, attending school in Doniphan,
where he was active in Powerlifting. He graduated with Doniphan
Class of 1977.
Mark was an avid gardener. He will be remembered for his love
for his daughter and his family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family to be designated
at a later date.
