Alfred 'AL' H. Kincheloe

Alfred ‘Al’ H. Kincheloe, 87, of Grand Island, died Friday, April 21, 2012, at home.

Alfred ‘Al’ H. KincheloeThe Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 25 at All Faiths Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with full military honors. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at All Faiths Funeral Home in Grand Island, NE.  

Alfred was born on October 12, 1924 at Lexington, NE, the son of Henry and Ida (Colb) Kincheloe. 
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 66 years, Dorothy; daughters Sherryl Kincheloe-Noble of Grand Island; and sons and their spouses, Jerry (Rennie) Kincheloe of Sumner, NE and Gale (Wanda) Kincheloe of Grand Island.

Those also left to cherish his memory are his grandchildren, Lori and Greg Kincheloe, Troy Olsen (Meagan Stover), Bruce Noble and Fawnda little; and 6 great grandchildren.

He was welcomed into heaven by his parents; a sister, Marjorie Adle; brother, Jerry Kincheloe, granddaughter, Kimberly Olsen and a son in law, Bruce Noble.

Alfred was raised in Lexington and married Dorothy Ottman on August 27, 1945. Alfred and Dorothy lived in Lexington until their move to Grand Island in 1958, where they made their home. He joined the U.S. Army, serving from May of 1943 to July of 1945.

He enjoyed embroidery work, wood crafts, and he loved to fish.

Alfred is a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, DAV, and VFW.
