Antonio "Tony" Ramirez JR

May 18, 1961 - April 20, 2022

Antonio “Tony” Ramirez Jr., 60, of Grand Island passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2022. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at All Faiths Funeral Home. Celebration of life services will be held at 11a.m. on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at All Faiths Funeral Home. Dan Naranjo will officiate. Burial will take place at a later date in the Grand Island City Cemetery. All Faiths Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements. Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation. Tony was born on May 18, 1961 in Del Rio, TX son of Antonio and Guadalupe (Gonzales) Ramirez. He grew up one of seven children in Texas and Kansas before coming to live with family in Nebraska. Tony met the love of his life, Mary Schall, they made their home in Grand Island and St. Paul where they raised their four children. Tony lived life to the fullest and was known to have some wild stories. Tony kept busy and took pride in his cars and trucks, often doing most of the maintenance himself. He enjoyed traveling in his truck for work. Tony loved to hunt and fish spend his days outside. Tony could be stubborn, but he always kept his sense of humor and completely devoted to his grandbabies. His memory is cherished by his children, Anthony (Melissa) Schall of Grand Island, Ricky (Sandra Wetzel) Ramirez of Osceola, NE, Alycia Ramirez of TX and Wesley Ramirez of TX; 16 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren with one on the way; brother, Felix Ramirez and sister, Maria Espenoza; along with many friends and extended family. Tony was preceded in death by his parents; Mary Schall; several brothers and sisters; beloved dog, Sam.
