Brett W. Morse Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Brett W. Morse, 37, of Cairo, passed away from complications with Covid on February 15, 2022 at CHI Health St. Francis in Grand Island, Nebraska. A Celebration of Life service is scheduled for Wednesday, February 23rd at 2pm at All Faiths Funeral Home in Grand Island. Family will greet friends for one hour prior to the service. Brett was born on May 11, 1984 in Grand Island, to Brad Morse and Penny Ritz. He was raised and received his education in Central City, graduating from Central City High School in 2002. Brett started working for Gary Smith Construction at the age of 16, and has remained there ever since. Brett met the love of his life, Sierra Hansen, over 10 years ago. Together they created a family. In his spare time, Brett enjoyed listening to music, reading, playing games, and spending time with his family. Those left to cherish his memory include, Sierra Hansen; children, Tristen Hansen, Jaxsen Hansen, Kaia Morse, Spencer Morse, Vincent Morse, and Melody Morse, who will be arriving soon. He is also survived by his father, Brad Morse; mother Penny (Jac) Smith; sisters, Jacie (Lance) Boelts, Kaylyn Morse; grandparents, Sally Wyrick, Gary Smith, and Richard (Marge) Ritz; niece and nephew, Ashtyn Boelts and Carter Boelts; aunts, Sheila Barleen, Cara Smydra; uncles, Tom Smith, Scott (Heidi) Smith; cousins, Derek Barleen, Tyler Barleen, Tyler Ritz, and Trevor Ritz. Brett was preceded in death by his grandparents, Larry Morse and Bonitta Vejvoda; and uncle, Kelly Ritz. Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.
