Delbert "Del" Hoselton Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Delbert A. “Del” Hoselton, 72, of Alda passed away on July 8, 2022. There will be a Memorial Service held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. All Faiths Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements. Del was born January 10, 1950, in Norfolk, NE, the son of Arthur and Maxine (Carter) Hoselton. He grew up and attended school in Grand Island, graduating from GISH, class of 1968. In 1969 he married Penny Whitworth. Del made a career of welding and retired in 2012. He loved fishing and camping; and also enjoyed playing cards. His family fondly remembers him as a jokester and his desire to make you happy. The Yankees were his favorite baseball team and the New York Giants his football team; but he still was a Husker fan. Del’s memory will be cherished by Penny and his daughter, Michelle (Yoismel) Dicxon of Alda; and grandchildren, Jordan, Devin and Peyton Janulewicz, Elam and Nadia Dicxon, Sierra Reyes, and Angelina and Carly Hoselton. He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Rhonda Hoselton of Hastings, and several nieces and nephews. Del was preceded in death by his parents; son, Lonnie Hoselton; grandson, Nino Hoselton; brother, Rick Hoselton; niece, Emily Kennedy; and parents-in-law, Jake and Stella Whitworth.
