Adriana “Audie” Abora Alvarez, age 32, of Grand Island, passed away Friday, October 13, 2023. Memorial Mass will be held Friday, October 27th at 10:30am at St. Mary’s Cathedral. Father Jorge Canela Celebrant. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 26th from 4-7pm with a Rosary at 7pm at All Faiths Funeral Home. Please wear Texas Longhorns or Kansas Jayhawks attire. Adriana was born July 14, 1991 in Grand Island to Israel Alvarez and Francesca “Frenchie” Melgoza. Audie attended Central Catholic and GISH, graduating in 2009. She went on to Central Community College graduating with an associate degree in Environmental Health and Safety. She was employed with Hornady. On April 8, 2021 she was united in marriage to Michaela Rall. Audie enjoyed playing golf, building Lego structures and most of all spending time with her family. She was an avid fan of the Texas Longhorn football, Kansas Jayhawk basketball and Kansas City Chiefs. Audie is survived by her wife, Michaela Alvarez; daughter, Madison Reign Alvarez; mother, Frenchie (Chip) Melgoza; father, Israel (Maricela) Alvarez; brothers, Cheyene (Yazmin) Alvarez and Jovanni Alvarez; sister, Yuliana Alvarez; grandmother, Sally Melgoza; grandparents, Aureliano and Amelia Alvarez; mother and father in-law, Rena and Jared Bonczynski; brother in-law, Justyce Bonczynski; nephew and niece, Mason and Noelle; aunts and uncles, Mark, Felicia (Martin), Tina and BJ (Julie); cousins, Sierra, Erica, Khiry, Karly, Trey, Jaden, Adrian, Tyson, Alayna, Kenie, Bella, Aariyah, Ariana; aunts and uncles, Carlos (Alma), Hugo (Eva), Sandra (Carlos), Aureliano (Marisol), Zoila, Cheyenne (Barbara),(Marta), Porfirio (Esmeralda); cousins, Hugo Jr. Edgar, Clarissa, Jennifer, Juan Luis, Marisol, Adamaris, Johnny, Horacio, Erick, Monserrat, Miranda, Jared, Alejandro, Daniel, Cristina, Larissa, Cheyenne Jr., Jesus and friends, Joey Varela, Max Puente, and Aldo Martinez. Preceded in death by her grandpa, Robert Melgoza; sister, Ana Cecilia Alvarez and great grandparents, Ralph and Julia Melgoza and Salvador and Juanita Munoz.
