Billie Lynne Anderson

Billi Lynne Clark Anderson, 62, of Zearing, Iowa, formerly of Grand Island, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024. A service and celebration of Billi’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, at All Faiths Funeral Home in Grand Island, officiated by Daniel Naranjo. Following the service there will be a meal served at Boarders Conference Center, 333 Ramada Rd., Grand Island. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Billi was born on July 4, 1961, in McCook, NE, to Carol (Berger) Liljehorn. She graduated from Axtell High School with the class of 1980. On July 26, 1980, she married Charles “Chuck” Anderson. They made their home in Grand Island, where they raised their family. Billi worked as a cosmetologist for over 25 years, operating the salon in Tiffany Square and working at Beaute’ World. She also continued her education, obtaining her insurance license, and becoming a certified surgical technician. Billi had a special knack for connecting with the elderly and bringing smiles to their faces. She volunteered at Zearing Health Center in her later years, enjoying activities like nail care and board games with the residents. She had a talent for organization and took pride in maintaining a meticulous home. Billi delighted in tending to her flower gardens and treasured every moment spent with her grandchildren. Billi's happiest moments were those spent surrounded by family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Chuck; son and daughter-in-law, Travis and Lindsay Anderson, and their children, Blake and Sutton of Malcolm, NE; daughter and son-in-law, Alicia and Josh Hansen, and their children, Henry and Ellie of Indianapolis, IN; her father, Russell Liljehorn; her four-legged companion, Jasper. She is also survived by her beloved sister and brother-in-law Bambe and Todd Poppert, Aunt Judy Titman and cousin Chantelle Johnson. Other survivors include half-brother and sisters; Bruce Clark Jr., Robin Schaffert Clark and Lydia Clark; brother-in-law, Mike Anderson; sisters-in-law; Valerie Hedgecock and Robin Wright Anderson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Carol Liljehorn; parents-in-law, Wesley and Una Anderson; brothers-in-law, Steve Anderson and Dan Hedgecock; and sister-in-law, Becky Anderson and Bruce Clark. Memorials are suggested to the family to be designated at a later date.
