Brett Andrew Peters

Brett Andrew Peters, 37, of Central City, formerly of Grand Island, left his earthly home on Wednesday, June 25th in a car accident in Hamilton County. A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 1st at Trinity United Methodist Church at 5th and Elm Streets, Grand Island. Livestreaming will be available at Trinity UMC GI Facebook page. Cremation will take place following the service. Visitation will be Monday, June 30th from 5-7 PM at Trinity United Methodist Church. All Faiths Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. Memorials are suggested to the family to be determined at a later date. Brett was born April 20, 1988 in Grand Island the son of Rick and Monika (McGuire) Peters. He graduated from St. Paul High School in 2006. Brett worked construction and then became an owner of the family business, Peters Painting. Brett loved singing! He especially loved singing Karaoke! You could hear the crowd go wild while he sang Don’t Stop Believing, Ballroom Blitz and the ever-popular Folger song! He loved going to the Kansas City Chiefs games and was an avid fan of NASCAR. He loved spending time with his family at the lake and with his three beloved dogs, Brad, Shirley and Athena. He enjoyed golfing especially with his brother and fiancé Jill. His greatest joy was his daughters. Those left to cherish his memory are his fiancé, Jill Seaman, his daughters Aria and Aurora, (Ashley Fey), his mother, Monika Peters (Dave Marron); his father, Rick (Suzy) Peters, brother and sister-in-law, Brock (Ashley) Peters and their children Palmer and Norman; stepsons, Trevor (Savannah) Seaman and their daughter Vanessa and Garrett Seaman; stepsister, Amber (John) Wissing and their children, Blake, Kourtney, Duke, Kora, Kami, Kaitlyn; step brother, Sam (Jenny) Nelson and their children, Logan and Hadley Jo, and an aunt Cathy Lemmerman. He is also survived by cousins Jerry (Heidi) Mendyk, their children Rafe and Rya, Donnie (Shayla) Kerlin and their children Graham, Reid and Stella. He was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Charles and Lieselottie McGuire, step Grandfather John Doyle, Norm and Shirley Peters, step grandfather, Monte Brouillette, nephews Johnny McGuire, Ed Doyle, David Doyle, and Patty Doyle and his uncle Doug Lemmerman, Great grandparents, Lawrence and Olga Dickman.
