Carol Mae Millard

Carol M. Millard, 86, of Grand Island passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2025. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. at All Faiths Funeral Home on Sunday June 15, 2025. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 16, 2025 at All Faiths Funeral Home. Pastor Andy Springer will officiate. Burial will follow at Grand Island City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family for future designation. Carol was born on January 7, 1939 one of twelve children of Clarence and Goldie (Hill) Warren in Eads, Colorado. She attended school in Colorado. On April 12, 1953 she married Jack Millard in Ratone, NM. They spent 72 years together and raised five children. In her younger years, Carol enjoyed cooking her specialties: green chili, fried chicken and southern pecan bars. When her daughters were younger, she was a 4-H leader both in Pueblo, CO and Huron, SD. She made patio pavers at home and worked with the Shaklee Organization. Carol enjoyed traveling and after all the children were grown up, she rode with Jack as they drove all over the country in a semi-truck. while employed by Land Star they were the representatives at the Anaheim, CA truck convention as Land Star’s top driver team. They would often take a trip to Disney World for Christmas, having brought some of the first building materials to the park. Carol enjoyed listening to classic country music, she loved animals, especially her cats. Carol is survived by her husband, Jack; daughter, Debbie VanErt of Fullerton, NE; daughter-in-law, Debbie Sue Millard; grandchildren, Katina (Phil) Nelson, Bambi (James Stovall) Millard, Amanda (Matthew) Memrick, Josh (Jenna) Millard and Kelicia Millard; great-grandchildren, Jordan, Lakota, Jayden, Shawnee, Jossiah, Jeremiah, Serenity, Amilia, Leyghton, Ella Temperance, and Mina; two great-great grandchildren; brother, Don Warren; sister, Joyce (Alfred) Toon; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Carol was preceded in death by her parents; children, Gary Millard, Linda Millard, Becky Millard, and Kenneth Clay Millard; great-granddaughter, Cheyenna Urbauer; siblings, Emil Warren, Charles Warren, Robert (Shirley) Warren, Madge (G.A.) Beggs, Helen Fields, Sylvia Grasmick, Ron Warren, Roger Warren, and Elaine Stewart; and son-in-law, Kevin VanErt.
