Dianna S. Voss

Dianna S. Voss,78, life-long Grand Island resident passed away on Friday, May 1, 2026. Celebration of life gathering will be held from 5 to 7p.m. on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at All Faiths Funeral Home. Celebration of Life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 8, 2026, at All Faiths Funeral Home. Dan Naranjo will officiate. All Faiths Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements; memorials are suggested to the family for future designation. Dianna was born on January 1, 1948, in Grand Island, daughter of Earl Gene and Viola (Sorensen) Wilson. She was a graduate of Grand Island Senior High School where she made lifelong friendships. Dianna married Mike Voss on March 31, 1967. They celebrated 59 years together and were blessed with three sons. For over 50 years, Dianna welcomed many area children into her home while their parents were at work. She loved caring for her grandchildren as well. Dianna was a bargain shopper extraordinaire. Along with her friend Marilyn Bockman, Dianna was always looking for a good bargain or gathering their coupons to stock their pantry and others. She was an avid bowler, and loved spending time with friends during league night. Friday nights were set aside to see friends and classmates. Dianna made holidays magical. She would begin shopping for her family for Christmas, usually six to eight months ahead of the holiday, and birthdays were always celebrated. Dianna was in attendance for all her grandchildren’s events. She looked forward to facetime and phone calls from her great-grandchildren. In recent years, Dianna began caring for the local wildlife. The birds, feral cats and squirrels never ate so good. Dianna cared for all her family and friends that became family. They will miss her love of holiday traditions and sweet treats. Dianna is survived by her husband, Mike Voss of Grand Island; sons, Kirk (Caroline) Voss, Kraig (Amy) Voss, and Kevin (Kari) Voss all of Grand Island; grandchildren, Danielle (Trevor) Urkoski, Colton Voss, Abby (Jacob) Rojas, Jack Voss, Riley Voss and Katey Voss; great-grandchildren, Brinley, Gavin, and Grady Urkoski and Camila Rojas; brother, Tom (Bobbi) Wilson of Lincoln; numerous extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and close friends, Dale and Marilyn Bockman.
