Dylan V. Dzingle

Dylan V. Dzingle, 18, of Grand Island was called to Heaven Monday, May 4, 2015 at CHI-Health St. Francis Medical Center. Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at All Faiths Funeral Home. Dan Naranjo will officiate. Cremation has been chosen, a gathering of family and friends will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday, May 8, 2015 at All Faiths Funeral Home. Dylan was born on February 22, 1997 in St. Paul, eldest son of Todd and Genesa (Ritchie) Dzingle. Those left to cherish his memory are his parents; brothers, Hayden Dzingle, Nolan Dzingle, and Emmett Dzingle, all of Hastings; grandparents, Ervan and Marge Dzingle of Loup City, and David and Joni Ritchie of Sargent; aunts, Amy (Jason) Niemoth and children, Makenna and Carson of Hastings, Tanya (Brian) Dzingle and children, Mackenzie, Justice, Jacie, and Ava of Hastings, Melisa Ritchie of Doniphan; uncles, Jonathan (Veronica) Ritchie and child, Justin of King George, VA, Simon (Lacie) Ritchie and child Zane of Kearney, Matthew (Jenny) Ritchie and children, Gracie, Kegan, and Ira of Litchfield; great grandparents, Jerry and Ruth Sloggett of Loup City and Rose Lewandowski of Loup City; and Dylan’s special friend and caretaker Dwayne. He is preceded in death by Viola Brim, Pearl Stevens, Bud Maiefski, Gilbert and Irene Dzingle. Dylan received his education in Grand Island where he attended Stolley Park Grade School, Barr Middle School and Grand Island Senior High School. Dylan had an amazing smile and a contagious laugh. He never met a stranger. He had a way of working his way into your heart like only he could. Dylan’s eyes were a window into his soul. He loved his family and his dogs, Chase and Dodger. He loved watching the Huskers and he loved to shop. Dylan had little control over his day to day life but the one thing he never let anyone control was his clothes. Many mornings were spent studiously dressing him to his precise liking. The family requests, in honor of Dylan, that you wear something red. Dylan’s family would like to express their appreciation for the care that was given to Dylan throughout his life. Though his time with us was short, his impact was immeasurable! The family is requesting that in lieu of flowers memorials may be designated to the family to assist in establishing a scholarship in Dylan’s name.
