Harold H. White

Harold H. White, age 73, of Grand Island, passed away on Monday, December 15, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19th at 1pm at All Faiths Funeral Home with Dan Naranjo officiating. The service will be livestreamed on the funeral home website. Visitation will begin at noon. Interment with military honors at the Nebraska Veterans Cemetery at Grand Island. Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation. Condolences can be left at www.giallfaiths.com. Harold was born on August 18, 1952 in Alda, NE to Hilbert H. and Maxine (Schlaich). He grew up on a farm outside Ashland where he rode and broke horses. This sparked a lifelong love of horses and horse races. He attended Ashland Greenwood public school through the 11th grade. When we was a senior the family moved to Grand Island and he graduated from Senior High in 1970. On May 24, 1972, he enlisted in the United States Army and proudly served until he was honorably discharged on April 11, 1974. After his service he lived in Las Vegas for five years before returning to Grand Island. On September 20, 1986 he was united in marriage to Colene Westwood. To this union they were blessed with three children. Harold was employed at Filter Specialists Incorporated for 27 years until his retirement. Harold will always be remembered for his sense of humor and his pranks. He knew how to have a good time but also had an unwavering work ethic. Harold always provided for his family and many times without asking for help. He enjoyed playing cards, fishing, camping and watching old western movies. Harold was a Nebraska football and baseball fan. He began to follow the professional teams that the players went on to and especially liked the Packers. Above all else his greatest pride and joy was his children and grandchildren. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Colene White; children, Cory White (Josie Hernandez), Chad White and Hillary White (Arjay Bostic); grandchildren, Acshton White, Claire Bostic, Laine White, Ryelyn Hernandez and Alizay Hernandes; sisters, Rhonda White and Rose Morrow; sister in-law, Carmen Lulliman; niece, Connie Halkowitz and Laura Lefever and nephew, Melvin White. Harold was preceded in death by his father, Hilbert White; mother and stepfather, Maxine and Marvin Morrow Sr., brothers, Melvin White, Marvin White and Marvin Morrow Jr. and sisters, Susan Wagner and Donna White.
