Randy Daniel Krolikowski

Randy Daniel Krolikowski, 48, of Grand Island passed away Monday, November 6, 2017 at Nebraska Heart Hospital in Lincoln due to complications following heart surgery. Service and celebration of life will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church. Reverend Adam Snoberger will officiate. Burial will be in Grand Island City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church. All Faiths Funeral Home is serving the family. Randy was born October 10, 1969 in Grand Island, to Roger and Margaret (George) Krolikowski. He grew up in Grand Island, attending Stolley Park and Gates Elementaries, Barr Junior High and graduating from Grand Island Senior High, class of 1988. He then attended University of NE Kearney, graduating in 1993 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Ag Business. On June 3, 1995 he married his high school sweetheart, Marcy Trosper. They made their home and raised their boys in Grand Island. Randy and his father worked together for 23 years in their business, Krolikowski Construction. He also raised cattle year around with his dad, doing daily chores after work at their family farm. For several years during the winter months, he helped out at Platte Valley Veterinary Hospital. Randy was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the Platt Duetsche and was recently selected as a board member of Grand Island Senior High Athletic Booster Club. He truly loved attending his sons' baseball and football games and he valued the friendships he developed with parents and boys throughout the years at these events. He also enjoyed hunting with his boys and friends. A farm boy at heart, as a young boy Randy loved hanging out at Grandpa’s farm, watching online cattle auctions over lunch and spending time with his four-legged friend, Max. Those who will cherish his memory include his wife, Marcy; sons, Ryan and Riley; father, Roger; sister and brother-in-law, Lisa Evans-Tubbs and Michael Tubbs; mother-in-law, Norma Trosper; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Kevin and Dani Trosper; nieces and nephew, Taryn, Sydney and Braden Trosper; many aunts, uncles, cousins, dear close friends; and Max, his four-legged co-worker. He was preceded in death by his mother; sister, Geri Krolikowski, his maternal and paternal grandparents; brother-in-law, Daniel Evans and father-in-law, Larry Trosper. The family will apply memorials toward educational funding for Ryan and Riley.
