Scott Thomas Panagiotis

March 4, 1971 - April 17, 2022

Scott Thomas Panagiotis, 51, of Iowa, passed away on Easter morning, April 17, 2022 in Charles City, Iowa. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 10am at All Faiths Funeral Home. Pastor Jeremy Reagan from the Solid Rock Baptist Church will officiate. The service will be livestreamed on the All Faiths’ website at www.giallfaiths.com. Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation. Scott was born on March 4, 1971 in Lincoln, to Thomas and Eileen (Snyder) Panagiotis. The family relocated to the North Platte area when Scott was young. Scott graduated from North Platte High School in 1989. He then attended college at the University of Nebraska Lincoln, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Russian Language in 1995 including a one-year Fellowship to study abroad in Moscow, Russia. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry in 1996. In 2004, he received his Master of Arts Degree from Doane College in Management. Scott loved education and learning. He later earned four Six Sigma Black Belt Certifications in Project Management. His career as a Pharmaceutical Consultant and a Quality Assurance Manager took him all over the world including Russia, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, India, and China. He worked for the Federal Drug Administration as an Investigator, Drug Specialist. He also worked for Novartis Consumer Health, Par Pharmaceutical, Nova-Tech, Inc., Pennfield Animal Health, as well as owning and managing his own LLC since 2010 where his career led him to oversee the Covid-19 Vaccine Drug Substance testing for Johnson and Johnson. Most recently, he worked for Zoetis Pharmaceuticals in Charles City, IA. He was held in high esteem by colleagues and well known for his professional knowledge and expertize. Scott united in marriage to Manlei Wang on January 18, 2016, in Wu Han, China. The couple moved from China to New Jersey and New York in 2017. They moved to Grand Island, NE in 2019. Then to Charles City in 2022. In his spare time, Scott enjoyed being with his wife, biking, movie watching, and play time with Hunter (Guys) their Parti Yorkie dog. Scott adored people and cherished his relationships with his family and friends all over the world. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Manlei Wang; son, Thomas (Hanna-fiancé) Alderman; parents, Thomas and Eileen Panagiotis; and sister, Kristine (Gary) Tucker; Father-in-law, Zheng Rong Wang; Mother-in-law, Qi Quan Yu; Step-daughter Tuzi Xue Ru Wang. He is also survived by Aunts, Barbara (Jerry) Martin; Kim (Terry) Ackerman; Sheila (Jim) Kiko; uncle, Tim (Jeanette) Snyder; Nieces, Kiley Tucker and Cassidy Tucker and numerous extended family. Scott was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas K. Panagiotis, Evelyn Sanders, Maurice Snyder, Eileen (Lewis) Myers; and several aunts and uncles.
