Zachary David Hill
June 13, 1980 - February 14, 2021
Zachary David Hill, 40 of Grand Island went to his Heavenly Kingdom on February 14, 2021 at UNMC with his parents at his side following a long battle with liver disease. Celebration of life service will be at 11 AM Friday, February 19th at All Faiths Funeral Home. Daniel Naranjo will officiate. Livestreaming will be available on Zachary’s obituary page at www.giallfaiths.com The family will be greeting friends an hour before service time. To help protect others, facemasks are required. Zachary was born in Grand Island on June 13, 1980 the son of Gale and Sandi (Behring) Hill. He graduated from Grand Island Senior High and attended Southeast Community College in Lincoln where he continued to reside. Zachary traveled as a representative for Sun Heat Company and was employed by US Bank, becoming a Branch Manager in Lincoln where he worked for several years. Because of health issues he had to retire and moved back to Grand Island to be close to his immediate family and friends. Zach was a very good golfer and enjoyed spending time with friends, family and especially his son, Ben. He was a huge Raiders fan. Those left to cherish his memory include his 6 year old son, Benjamin Kyle Hill; his parents, Gale and Sandi Hill of Grand Island; brother, Josh (Sundee) Hill of Scottsbluff and their children, Téa, Coraline and Easton; a sister, Danielle (Shawn) Davis of Grand Island and their son, Marciano; the mother of his son, Falisha; grandma, Mary Behring of Grand Island and aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his beloved German Shepard, Zoe; his grandparents, Leonard and Elsie Hill; grandfather, Lester Behring; uncle, Darrell Hill and aunt, Denise Behring. Zach will be greatly missed by many. Memorials are suggested to the Lied Transplant Program of UNMC or to the Central Nebraska Humane Society.
