Bryce A Malesker

Our son, Bryce Allen Malesker, was born to Linda (Zimbelman) Malesker and Dennis Malesker in Frankfurt Germany in 1971. Bryce lived a full life until the age of 53, and passed on Tuesday, March 25, 2025. Bryce went to school in Palmer and Central City and then High School in Grand Island Nebraska and finished his education when he then moved to Colorado Springs CO, where he started a family, worked in automotive restoration and then later in life moved back to Grand Island to be closer to his parents. He loved not only the mountains, but also the beauty, freedom and peacefulness they offered. He had hoped to move back someday. Bryce also loved family, friends, hunting and fishing, listening to music, racing cars in the mountains at terrifying speeds, spending time at both his grandparents and great grandparent’s farms, working on cars, and playing games. Bryce had a very caring heart. Looking out for and always protecting his family, and the people he cared about, no matter the circumstances. He would help family and friends, even total strangers. Offering not only a kind word, but also a water or a meal, a funny joke with a shared laugh, or just listening to you and being present in the moment, without any judgment, which is so rare in this world. Bryce had eight beautiful children whom he just adored and four grandchildren of whom he loved dearly. He didn't get to see or spend as much time as he would have liked with them, but he always talked about them, and about how proud he was of who they were and who they were becoming. Bryce had two caring brothers Brent and Barry that despite any disagreements, he would do anything for. Sharing advice not only about life, but also about mistakes, so they could learn without making the same mistakes. Not many will know, but Bryce was also a Hero. He helped save his brother from losing an arm in a childhood accident, and then later saved his brother's life in another childhood accident. Bryce is survived by his children, Felicity, AJ, Zack, Zeb, Ariel, Belle and Sophia; grandchildren, David, Jameson, Autumn, and Jonathan; parents, Linda (Zimbelman) Malesker and Dennis Malesker; brothers, Brent, Chris, Barry and Eric; and nephew, Colton. Bryce is also survived by many uncles, aunts, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Jessica; grandparents, John and Alice Zimbelman, and Edward and Violet Malesker; great grandparents, Elsie and Herman Kurz, and Freida Zimbelman. Faith is something that Bryce always had, believing that life can and will get better. He believed and practiced in a 'Hug for the road' which is also his mom's favorite saying. Until we meet in Heaven, we will always hold and share this love in our hearts, we will have faith in the fact that Bryce shared this love and faith with us. He would want for us to be happy and not sad, knowing that tears should be for happiness, he is one of God's children.
